Selection Process of AGWA Scholarship of UTS

AGWA Scholarship is intended to develop their business by attracting researcher. That is why the selection process is focused on filtering out the most effective researcher into different category to offer them AGWA scholarship. The decision of the scholarship committee is final decision in this case. There is no way to appeal. The selection process is based on 4 criteria. They are:
  1. First criteria is academic excellency. Candidates with high academic achievement get priority.
  2. Second criteria is the quality of CV of the applicant.
  3. Third and very important criteria is PhD research proposal.
  4. Final criteria is the possibility of the applicant to work for wine industry.
Based on these four criteria, the scholarship committee selects the candidates. If a student is poor in academic achievement but has very rich CV, then he may hope to get this scholarship. All of these 4 criteria is equally weighted.
