National Merit Scholarship of Florida Atlantic University

National Merit scholarship of Florida Atlatic University is organized by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It is known as NMSC. The main purpose of this scholarhsip is to help university students who are pursuing degree in Florida Atlantic University. Sometimes it is seen that there are meritorious students out there. But because of financial condition, they cannot concentrate of education and study. They work to earn their tuition fees and it hampers their education. To help this kind of students, National Merit Scholarships are awarded.

Amount of the Scholarship:

The National Merit Scholarship is awarded annually. The total amount is $30,000. This amount is awarded in 4 years equally. However, to extend the duration of the scholarhsip up to 4 years, students have to maintain at least CGPA 3 or above. Otherwise the scholarship will not be extended.

Eligibility:
 There is no specific eligibility criterion for National Merit Scholarship. Who will be considered as eligible is totally depends on the scholarhsip selection board. Their decision is the final decision. An interested students can do his best by applying for this scholarship. There is nothing else can be done. If the scholarhsip selection board thinks the application is eligible, then he will be contacted with further procedure.
