Eligibility of High Achieving Engineering Scholarship of University of Newcastle

High Achieving Engineering Scholarship is a very popular scholarship program of University of Newcastle, Australia. Because of very high amount of payment, a large number of student apply for this scholarship. However, based on the eligibility criteria, very few students are considered as eligible for the scholarship. To be considered as eligible the following criteria must be meet.
  • Be commencing in a Bachelor of Engineering undergraduate program within the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment
  • Be enrolling full-time at the Callaghan Campus
  • Have an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) score of 99.0 or above NOT including bonus points.
  • Students who have completed the International Baccalaureate in Australia must achieve a score of 45
  • Not have previously held this scholarship, or be a University of Newcastle Industry Scholarship Scheme (UNISS) Scholar
  • Not hold another scholarship of equivalent or more substantial benefit for the same program.
  • Be enrolling in the first year of your first undergraduate degree
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • has not previously commenced a degree at the University of Newcastle
Once the criteria mentioned above is meet, the student who is willing to apply for this scholarship program is considered as eligible.
