APA Reference List Format For Multiple Authors
Students or writers often become confused in writing APA Reference list when there are multiple author. It there are multiple author, there are specific rules to write in APA Reference List. First of all, students have to carefully identify the number of authors. If there are 7 or less than 7 author, then the rules are similar to Single Author APA Reference rules. The only addition is, students have to write names of all author separated with a comma(,). Before the last name an ampersand(&) is put. That's it. If there are more than seven author, students have to write six authors name and then using 3 dots(.) students have to put the last author name.
Example of 2-7 Author:
If there are 2 author of the work that student have used in their work, the APA format fot them is like this:
Name of Authors>year>Name of Book>Place of Publication>Publisher

If there are more than 2 authors but less than 8 author then the format that the student should follow is:
Name of Authors>Year>Title of Article>Name of Journal>Volume>Page Range
Diessner, R., Solom, R.C., Frost, N. K., Parsons, L., & Davidson, J (2008). Engagement With Beauty: Appreciating Natural,Artistic, and Moral Beauty. The Journal of Psychology,142, 303-329
When There are More Than 7 Author:
If there are more than 7 Author, students need to use the format given below:
Name of First 6 authors>...>Name of Last Author(without &)>Year>Title of the Article>Name of The Journal>Volume>Page Range>Place of Publication>Name of Publisher
