George A. Miller Scholarship of University of California, Berkeley

             George A Miller Scholars program is a program to provide scholarship to students of University of California, Berkeley. This program is also designed to help and support he transferred students with their research and others community tasks. George A. Miller Scholars program also provide research stipend to transferred students.

How it Works:
            Every year, there are around twelve students are selected for George A. Miller Scholars Program. Each of the student is selected based on their eligibility. When the eligible students are selected, students start working under the guidance of faculty mentors. Then they are selected for scholarship according to their merit, need and ability

Eligibility:
        To get into George A. Miller Scholars Program of University of California, Berkeley, the eligibility are:

  1. Student must come from a low income family
  2. He/she must be first generation college student. It means he/she is the first from his/her family to be graduate from a 4 year based academic institute.
  3. Student must be a transferred student to University of California, Berkeley, from one of it's community college
How To Get George A.Miller Scholarship:
     The procedure of getting George A.Miller Scholarship stars from getting into George A. Miller Scholars Program. Then selected student have to work under faculty mentor and show his/her ability and talents. The the faculty will decide whether he/she will get the scholarship.
      The scholarship is given based on leadership potential, academic excellence, and their commitment to community service and education.
Value of George A. Miller Scholarship:
The value of the scholarship is $7000
