APA Reference List Format: Unknown Author
If the name of the Author is not provided or unknown, then in APA reference list just avoid the part where the Author name is written. All other rules is like Single Author Rules and Multiple Author Rules. This Unknown Author Rules is applicable for both books and article. When it is article, the date of publication must be given in this format: (Year, Month day).
The format for APA reference when the author is unknown is :
Title>Year of Publication>Place of publication>Publisher
Example:
When author of the book is unknown the APA reference list will be like this:
New Consis World Atlas.(2007).New York, NY: Oxford University Press.
If the author of some article is unknown, then reference is like this:
Order In the Jungle.(2008, March 10).The Economist, 386(8571), 83-85
